Villages Gladysdale Chardonnay
Wine
Mac Forbes Villages Gladysdale Chardonnay is part of a series showing the diversity of Yarra Valley locales. It is grown in Gladysdale at the Yarra Valley's southern end.
The grapes are destemmed, crushed and pressed. After fermentation with indigenous yeasts, the wine matures for 9-10 months in small seasoned oak barrels. It is bottled without fining.
Bright yellow, Mac Forbes Villages Gladysdale Chardonnay has rich stone fruit and citrus flavours with a supple structure. Cellaring potential is five years.
